Stamp duty and registration fee
These charges are paid to the government. They are calculated on the market value of the property or the government's guideline value, whichever is higher.
Our writing charges are separate from these and are told to you upfront, before any work begins.

- For some deed types the government sets a maximum cap on the fee. Ask us whether a cap applies in your case.
- “Family member” has a specific legal meaning. We will check whether your relationship qualifies.
